Karen L. Perch, Ph.D., J.D., a solo practitioner, was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, in 1952. She obtained her Ph.D. from Kansas State University in 1983, with a specialization in family resource management. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1995 and has been in private practice in Lexington, Kentucky ever since. Over the years, Ms. Perch has compiled specialized experience in the following areas:
Michelle P. Waiver program, Supports for Community Living Waiver program, Planning for special needs, Planning for your own needs, before death, Planning for your heirs, after your death, and Assisting your family with legal matters and probate after your death. Karen L. Roberts Perch's recent presentations and publications include such titles as "Write your Own Will - Don't let the State do it For You," "9 Costly Mistakes to Avoid When Planning for a Special Needs Child," and "Michelle P. Waiver Program." Karen L. Roberts Perch is a member of the American Bar Association, The Kentucky Bar Association and the Academy of Special Needs Planners. Ms. Perch enjoys engaging in various home improvement projects, gardening, swimming, and various arts and crafts. In recent years, she has added running to her list of recreational activities.
